Wood-fired flatbread
Blistered in the grill, cultured butter and whatever herb is best that week.
Dundas West, Toronto
A short menu that changes when the market does, poured alongside forty-odd bottles we actually drink ourselves.
Menu
Written every Tuesday around what came in. If something sells out, it stays off until it's good again.
Blistered in the grill, cultured butter and whatever herb is best that week.
Market catch for two, charred over embers with lemon and green sauce.
Forty-five days aged, cooked over hardwood, sliced and salted at the pass.
Whatever the farm sent, cooked directly in the coals. Always vegetarian, often vegan.
Three courses, family style, poured with one glass included.
Forty-odd bottles, mostly small growers. The list moves constantly.
About
We opened in 2021 with a wood grill and not much else. The menu is deliberately short so everything leaving the pass has someone's full attention, and the wine list leans natural without being precious about it. Walk-ins welcome at the bar.
“The whole fish for two is the best thing I've eaten this year, and the server actually knew why each wine was on the list.”

“Walked in at 9 on a Thursday, got two seats at the bar. Small menu, everything on it was excellent.”
Tom A. · Toronto
“Told them about a shellfish allergy when I booked and the kitchen had already adjusted two courses before we sat down.”

Yes — tell us when you book and the kitchen plans around it. There are always vegetarian options and most can be made vegan.
We seat groups up to eight in the room. For anything larger we can discuss a partial buyout on quieter nights.
Corkage is $35 a bottle, limit two per table, and we waive it entirely on Wednesdays.
